Who We Are What We Do

OUR STORY

Gwinnett Math Tutoring began with the belief that our students have the innate ability to succeed when given the appropriate tools to do so. We desired to create a safe, encouraging environment for students to thrive in their strengths and overcome their weaknesses.

Unlike other tutoring companies that teach students what they need to know in order to pass exams, we have personalized instruction for our students so that they not only improve in their current courses, but also have study skills that will last a lifetime.

We have created an environment that allows students to perfect their area of expertise and understand the art of learning that will follow them throughout their educational and professional careers.

OUR APPROACH

We take a mentoring approach to tutoring. We have a comprehensive approach to how each subject fits together, and we lead the student along to properly link the subjects together. This helps them be successful in all their studies. We have found that short  “how to” examples with supervised practice are more effective than repeating a classroom lecture in private. Students listen to lecture all day. We want them to mimic, try, fail, correct and master concepts.

Taking time to understand how each student unlocks his or her own method of study, while helping students conform to expectations at school. Finding a student’s “bent” takes a little longer, but reaps much greater rewards down the road.

MEET THE TEAM

While each unique, we all share the common goal of student success.
